Job Summary

Join our customer’s team as a Crisis Management Expert (HR), where you will play a pivotal role in developing, executing, and refining HR-centric crisis management and incident response strategies. This fully remote position requires an expert who thrives under pressure and can provide crucial support during high-stakes situations, ensuring organizational resilience and robust response mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of crisis management protocols within HR and cross-functional teams. Coordinate real-time incident response efforts—spanning HR, security, and communications—during emergencies or business disruptions. Assess, review, and enhance business continuity plans (BCP) and emergency operations to ensure preparedness and compliance. Apply structured reasoning to evaluate model outputs and write rubrics that support clear, consistent crisis decision-making. Communicate complex crisis scenarios and response plans clearly through superb written and verbal channels. Provide subject matter expertise on crisis mitigation, recovery, and escalation processes uniquely tailored to HR workflows. Facilitate after-action reviews and drive continuous improvement within organizational crisis management programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in crisis management or incident response within enterprise, BCP, or emergency operations environments. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex incidents into actionable insights. Strong judgment and decision-making under uncertainty, including planning for multi-stage response scenarios. Proven familiarity with HR, security, and communications workflows in organizational settings. Experience in developing, evaluating, and applying structured reasoning rubrics for model or scenario assessments. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams under pressure. Strong analytical and documentation skills for reporting and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications in crisis management, incident response, or enterprise risk management. Prior experience designing crisis simulations or training programs for HR teams. Deep understanding of digital communication channels and remote collaboration tools during crisis situations.
