What to Expect

Engineering evaluation tasks span mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, and software engineering disciplines. You'll assess AI-generated design solutions, calculations, and technical explanations for correctness and real-world feasibility. Tasks are self-contained: you might evaluate a structural load calculation, review a circuit diagram for component rating errors, or assess whether a proposed manufacturing process is economically viable. AI engineering outputs often pass superficial scrutiny but contain calculation errors, unsafe assumptions, or design choices that would fail in practice. Tasks always specify the engineering discipline and application context before you accept them, so you can work within your area of expertise. PE certification or equivalent professional engineering experience is a strong advantage for higher-paying tasks.
