aitrainer.work lists paid AI training jobs from 20 platforms, with the pay each one states, and helps you pass their screening tests.

Every platform hires differently, and none compares itself to the others

Dozens of companies pay people to rate model answers, review AI-written code and write expert questions. Each one posts its own roles, sets its own pay and runs its own screening tests. Before aitrainer.work, comparing them meant reading Reddit threads and applying blind.

aitrainer.work launched on December 31, 2025 to put that information in one place. Since then we have tracked 7,530 job listings and referred 5,000+ candidates to partner platforms.

What the work pays

Most roles fall into one of three tracks, and your track affects your pay more than the platform does. Pay is the median hourly rate listings have stated since December 2025.

Domain Expert shows the range of medians across law, healthcare, finance, STEM, mathematics and accounting. The breakdown by field, with sample sizes, is on open data.

How it works

1. Find a role

The job board has 4,524 open listings. Most stay open about 47 days, so check the date to see if a role is new or about to close.

2. Know the platform

Platform profiles show pay, interview steps and payout speed for each one. We analysed 4,555 Trustpilot reviews and 3,731 Reddit posts: reviews platforms ask for score well above the ones workers post unprompted.

3. Prepare

The Academy has 20 free modules on the skills platforms test you on, including rubric reading, Python and live code review, plus interview questions for 299 roles. The Certified AI Training Fundamentals exam gives you a certificate anyone can verify with a public link.

4. Get hired

Join the free Talent Pool and we email you when an opening on a partner platform fits your languages and skills. We have placed 350+ candidates, with a median of about 30 days from referral to hire.

Three rules we hold the site to

Every pay figure says where it came from

A rate on a listing is the rate the platform stated. When a platform posts no rate and we estimate one, the listing labels it as our estimate, and estimates never enter our pay statistics. How we collect pay data.

We only list platforms we have vetted

We track 54 companies that pay people to train AI. The job board only lists the 20 we have checked by hand, so cent-per-task gigs and unverified recruiters stay off it.

Anyone can check our numbers

The pay, listing and placement statistics behind the site are free to reuse under CC BY 4.0 on open data, and our datasets and studies carry DOIs on Zenodo.

Are you hiring me directly?

No. You apply to each platform on its own site and sign your contract with that platform. aitrainer.work is not an employer.

Is it free? How do you make money?

Browsing roles, the Academy and the Talent Pool are free. We earn from the Certified AI Training Fundamentals exam and from referral partnerships with some platforms.

Can I prepare for platform assessments here?

Yes. The Academy has 20 free modules on the skills platforms test you on, including RLHF, Python, SQL, LaTeX, medical scribing and instruction following, with practice quizzes and a free mock exam.

What is Certified AI Training Fundamentals?

An exam on the core skills AI training platforms test for. If you pass, you get a certificate with a public verification link you can add to applications and to LinkedIn.

How does the Talent Pool work?

You create a free profile with your location, languages and experience. When an opening on a partner platform such as Turing, Micro1 or SME Careers fits your profile, we email you the details.
