Common questions
I’ve never done this work before. Should I still try?
Yes. The free Academy teaches the actual skills (annotation, RLHF judgments, formatting rules, the rest), and the exam just checks whether it stuck. If you can pass the free practice exam, you’re ready for the real one.
Will platforms actually care about this?
They won’t take it as a guarantee of a job, no certificate does. What it does is skip the doubt: instead of a recruiter wondering if you understand the work, they can see you’ve already proven it. That’s often the difference between getting a trial task and getting ignored.
What if I don’t pass the first time?
You get a second attempt for free, no waiting period. Take it right away or spend a couple of days reviewing first, whichever helps more.
Can I get my money back?
Yes, full refund within 14 days, as long as you haven’t started an attempt. Goes back to whatever you paid with.
What do the questions actually look like?
Multiple choice and multi-select, pulled from a bigger pool each time, so your retake isn’t the same test with the answers memorized.
Does it expire?
No. It’s yours for good, and the verification link stays live so anyone can check it later.
Why is it only in English?
Because that’s the language almost every AI training and data annotation platform hires in, including most "bilingual" roles. An English certificate is the one that actually gets used.
