1. Acceptance of Terms

By using aitrainer.work ("Site," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms and Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, do not use the Site.

2. Service Description

aitrainer.work is a job aggregator platform, community hub, and online learning academy listing AI training opportunities from third-party sources worldwide and offering free educational content through our AI Academy.

We are not affiliated with, employed by, or responsible for any listed jobs, employers, or third-party platforms. All job applications occur directly with external parties.

aitrainer.work is an information service and educational platform only. We are not an employment agency, recruiter, headhunter, staffing service, or talent broker. We do not procure employment, negotiate terms, vet candidates on behalf of employers, or receive fees from candidates for placement. Any application, interview, hiring decision, contract, and compensation arrangement is solely between you and the third-party platform or employer. Affiliate commissions we may receive from platforms are referral fees for traffic, not placement fees.

This does not apply to the optional Talent Pool feature. If you choose to join the talent pool, we may facilitate introductions between you and hiring platforms. See Section 3.6 for details.

3. Academy Certification & Exam

3.1 What You Are Purchasing

The Certified AI Training Fundamentals exam ("Exam") is a one-time purchase that grants you two (2) attempts to pass a proctored online assessment: your first attempt and one free retake if you do not pass on the first try. Upon passing (score ≥ 80%, i.e. 20 of 24 graded questions correct), you receive a verifiable digital certificate in PDF format with a unique public verification URL.

• Attempts: 2 attempts are included per purchase. There is no cooldown between attempts; you may take the second attempt as soon as you are ready. If both attempts are unsuccessful, you may purchase the Exam again at any time to receive a new set of 2 attempts.
• Retaking the exam: If you do not pass within the 2 attempts included in a purchase, you may purchase the Exam again at any time, with no waiting period. We may, at our discretion, email occasional promotional discount codes; any such offer is a courtesy and not a guaranteed entitlement.
• Timer: Each attempt is timed (24 minutes). Unanswered questions on expiry are treated as incorrect.
• Certificate: Issued immediately on passing. The certificate PDF and verification page remain accessible indefinitely while aitrainer.work operates.

3.2 Exam Refund Policy

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not yet started your first attempt. Refunds are self-serve from the exam page when eligible; the original payment is returned to the card or wallet used at checkout via Stripe. Once eligibility is lost (whether by starting an attempt, exceeding the 14-day window, or having previously been refunded), the purchase is final.

Purchases made with a 100% discount code (where no payment was charged) are not eligible for refund, as there is nothing to return.

If you experience a technical failure (e.g., the exam fails to load, your timer does not start) that is demonstrably caused by our platform and not your internet connection, contact support@aitrainer.work within 48 hours. We will investigate and, at our sole discretion, either restore an attempt or issue a refund.

We strongly recommend completing the free practice exam at /academy/mock-exam before purchasing.

3.3 Certificate Disclaimer

The Certified AI Training Fundamentals certificate is an educational credential issued by aitrainer.work. It is not:

• An employment guarantee or job offer of any kind
• An accreditation recognised by any government body, university, or professional licensing authority
• Affiliated with, endorsed by, or equivalent to any credential issued by Outlier, Scale AI, Mercor, Appen, or any other platform

We make no representations that holding this certificate will result in employment, acceptance onto any platform, or any specific income level.

3.4 Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

aitrainer.work is an independent educational platform. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Outlier AI, Scale AI, Mercor, Appen, Lionbridge, or any other AI training platform mentioned in our curriculum. All third-party names are used for descriptive educational purposes only. Our question bank and curriculum are original works — they do not reproduce proprietary materials from any third-party platform.

3.5 Exam Integrity

You agree not to:

• Share, publish, or distribute exam questions or answers in any form
• Use automated tools, AI assistants, or external help during a live exam attempt
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the randomisation or grading system
• Submit another person's work as your own

Violation of these rules may result in your certificate being revoked and your account being suspended without refund.

3.6 Talent Pool

The aitrainer.work talent pool is an optional feature. By joining, you consent to us reviewing your profile and, where we identify a strong fit, sharing your information with specific hiring platforms to facilitate an introduction.

• Joining the talent pool does not guarantee any introduction, interview, or employment outcome. We act at our sole discretion and only where we believe there is a genuine fit.
• We do not charge you for talent pool membership. We may receive a fee from a platform if you are successfully placed. This is separate from your own compensation and does not affect your pay.
• You may leave the talent pool at any time from your profile page. After withdrawal your profile will no longer be used for introductions.

4. Paid Job Listings & Refund Policy

By purchasing a job listing ("Standard" or "Premium"), you agree to the following:

• Approval Process: All listings are reviewed before publication. If your listing is rejected by us for any reason (e.g., non-compliant content, spam), you will receive a full refund within 7 business days.
• Refund Policy: Once a listing is published, no refunds will be issued. We do not guarantee specific results, view counts, or application rates.
• Errors: You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing. Minor edits can be requested via email, but significant changes may require a new submission.
• Removal: We reserve the right to remove active listings without refund if they are found to violate our terms or applicable laws after publication.

4.1 Listing Acceptance Criteria

We may reject, edit, or remove listings that:

• Contain false, misleading, or inflated pay claims
• Violate applicable employment laws (e.g., discriminatory language)
• Promote fraudulent, illegal, or unethical work
• Duplicate recent listings from the same company
• Contain profanity, harassment, or offensive content
• Are spam or unrelated to AI training work

Rejection reasons will be provided to advertisers upon request.

5. Use License

Limited license for personal, non-commercial viewing only. You may not:

• Modify, copy, or distribute content
• Use for commercial purposes
• Reverse engineer or decompile
• Remove copyright notices
• Mirror or transfer content to other sites

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Site provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all liability for:

• Job listing accuracy, legitimacy, or availability
• Third-party content, sites, or services
• Any damages from Site use (direct, indirect, consequential)

7. Accuracy & Modifications

Content may contain errors. We may change materials without notice. Third-party links used at your own risk—no endorsement implied.

8. User Conduct

• Provide accurate information
• No illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Do not interfere with Site operation

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where aitrainer.work is operated, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction for any disputes or legal proceedings related to these Terms.

9.1 Dispute Resolution

Before pursuing legal action, both parties agree to attempt resolution via email to legal@aitrainer.work within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration (not court), saving both parties time and cost.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
