Job Title: Sorani Language Expert Job Type: Contractor Location: Remote Job Summary: Join our customer's team as a Sorani Language Expert and make a direct impact in advancing language technology. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your linguistic expertise to enhance AI systems and deliver high-quality language solutions. Your contributions will empower next-generation AI products to better serve Sorani-speaking users worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Translate and localize diverse content accurately between Sorani and English, ensuring cultural nuance and linguistic precision. Edit, proofread, and review Sorani language outputs generated by AI models for quality, consistency, and relevance. Collaborate with AI trainers and linguists to evaluate and improve Sorani language datasets. Develop and refine linguistic guidelines and documentation for Sorani data annotation processes. Identify errors, ambiguities, or gaps in Sorani text and provide expert feedback to continuously enhance AI language performance. Engage in regular written and verbal communication with the customer’s team to align on project goals and deliverables. Contribute insights to drive the advancement of Sorani language models and applications. Required Skills and Qualifications: Native or near-native proficiency in Sorani, with a deep understanding of its grammar, idioms, and regional variations. Proven experience in translation, editing, or linguistic research related to Sorani. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Sorani and English. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. Familiarity with digital tools for language editing and content management. Passion for language technology and its applications in AI training. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as an AI trainer, language annotator, or in similar linguistic roles. Academic background in linguistics, translation, or related fields. Knowledge of current AI language technologies and trends. As a Sorani language expert AI trainer, you will play a vital part in shaping the linguistic capabilities of next-generation artificial intelligence systems. What is the catch?
Privacy. Micro1 projects often require you to install time-tracking software that takes screenshots of your desktop while you work to ensure you are actually working. If you are uncomfortable with monitoring software, this might not be for you.
What does the work actually look like?
