About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Program Manager (Crisis Ops) and play a pivotal role in advancing our AI training and rubric development initiatives. You will leverage your crisis management expertise to drive execution of critical response initiatives, designing and evaluating structured reasoning tasks that directly inform model training and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the creation, refinement, and implementation of robust crisis response and incident management rubrics for AI model training. Develop clear, actionable tasks and data sets focused on high-stakes execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and validate operational procedures and escalation paths. Evaluate and iterate on structured reasoning frameworks for assessing model outputs in crisis scenarios. Communicate complex ideas succinctly, both in writing and verbally, to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Analyze incident data to identify gaps and propose enhancements to response protocols and AI assessment criteria. Drive adoption of best practices in crisis operations, business continuity, and emergency response within the customer’s team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in crisis management, incident response, BCP, or emergency operations, preferably in enterprise settings. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to documentation. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment under uncertainty and to plan multi-stage, scalable responses. Expertise in designing, evaluating, and refining rubrics or structured assessment frameworks, ideally for AI or data-driven projects. Strong familiarity with organizational workflows, including HR, security, and communications. Experience working with diverse teams in remote, fast-paced environments. Ability to synthesize insights from qualitative and quantitative incident data.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in AI model training, annotation, or operationalizing AI in critical environments. Advanced degree or certification in emergency management, business continuity, or related field. Experience developing training materials or operational guides for crisis response in technology-driven organizations.
