About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as an expert Accounting / Finance Management Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing financial processes and ensuring robust accounting practices using Akaunting. Leverage your advanced expertise to drive financial integrity, support business objectives, and deliver insightful analysis in a dynamic and digital-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities using Akaunting. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Develop and implement best practices for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and improve financial workflows. Monitor cash flow, manage expense tracking, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Deliver clear and concise written and verbal communication, presenting complex financial data to both finance and non-finance audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in accounting and finance management, preferably in a remote or digital environment. Expert knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency with Akaunting or similar cloud-based accounting platforms. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Strong analytical mindset and ability to solve complex financial challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA. Experience supporting finance operations in SaaS or tech-driven organizations. Demonstrated success in process improvement or automation initiatives.
