Key Responsibilities: Execute carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to design specifications and project instructions. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards on construction sites. Follow detailed plans and verbal directions to complete projects on time and to exacting standards. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools proficiently and safely for framing, installation, and finished carpentry work. Inspect and maintain tools, materials, and work areas to uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions with team members and supervisors through clear written and verbal updates. Contribute to problem-solving and innovation efforts, ensuring quality workmanship on every task. Required Skills and Qualifications: Extensive hands-on construction site experience in carpentry or general construction work. Proven ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a diverse team environment. Strong proficiency with basic hand and power tools applicable to carpentry. Solid understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures. Effective written and verbal communication skills to report on work status and coordinate with the team. Demonstrated reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail in all tasks. Intermediate comfort with mobile apps for project tracking and communication. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in multiple areas of general construction beyond carpentry. Familiarity with digital construction management tools and technology. Evidence of craftsmanship and creative problem-solving on past projects.
