About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting robust, scalable cloud infrastructure. This expert-level position requires a strong background in DevOps best practices, automation, and cloud-native technologies, contributing to the seamless delivery and operation of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes. Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and configuration management to improve system efficiency and reliability. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and continuous delivery across environments. Monitor system performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks or potential outages. Establish and enforce security best practices within DevOps processes, supporting compliance and data protection requirements. Document processes and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Troubleshoot and debug complex infrastructure and application-level issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven expertise in DevOps methodologies and cloud-native infrastructure management. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for orchestration and container management. Strong proficiency with AWS cloud services and solutions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and collaboration. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Ability to manage incident response and root cause analysis in a fast-paced environment. Experience with monitoring tools and observability best practices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant AWS or Kubernetes certifications. Experience working in distributed, remote-first teams. Background in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
