Job Title: Earth and Space Sciences Professor Job Type: Contract Location: Remote Job Summary: Join our customer's team as an Earth and Space Sciences Professor and inspire the next generation of scientific leaders. In this dynamic role, you will teach and mentor students across earth and space disciplines, contribute to forward-thinking curriculum development, and collaborate on research with real-world impact. Leverage your expertise to enhance digital learning platforms and help train advanced AI models in the field. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver engaging courses in earth sciences, space sciences, geology, astronomy, meteorology, and related fields (excluding chemistry and physics). Create and implement innovative instructional materials for both remote and digital learning environments. Participate in curriculum development and instructional design to maintain academic excellence. Mentor and advise students, fostering both academic achievement and scientific curiosity. Conduct and publish research that advances knowledge in earth and space sciences. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate scientific expertise into AI model training initiatives. Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences through presentations, writing, and digital channels. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of experience as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Astronomy Professor, Atmospheric Sciences Professor, Geology Professor, Instructor, Meteorology Professor, Oceanography Professor, Professor, or Research Professor. Demonstrated expertise in earth sciences, space sciences, geology, astronomy, or meteorology. Proven track record in curriculum development and instructional design, especially for digital and remote platforms. Experience in training or contributing data and expertise to AI model development. Outstanding written and verbal scientific communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary academic team. Strong commitment to student mentorship and fostering inclusive learning environments. Preferred Qualifications: Published research in earth or space sciences with recognized contributions to the field. Experience integrating advanced technology or digital tools in science education. Background in scientific communication to non-specialist audiences.
