About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Keyboard Automation Specialist and leverage your expertise in rapid navigation and browser-based workflows to boost productivity across essential platforms. You’ll play a key role in streamlining digital processes using advanced keyboard techniques and automation tools, supporting a dynamic and collaborative remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain keyboard-driven workflows to optimize repetitive digital tasks. Utilize deep knowledge of keyboard shortcuts for native applications and browser-based tools to enable rapid navigation and task completion. Collaborate with team members to identify workflow bottlenecks and propose automation solutions. Support the team in mastering efficient use of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other browser-based productivity tools. Optimize user experience and productivity across major marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy), social platforms (Facebook), and freelance/SaaS platforms (Upwork, Linear). Document best practices and create quick-reference guides for shortcut and automation strategies. Communicate effectively via written and verbal channels to share insights and support team objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven expertise with keyboard shortcuts at both operating system and browser levels. Advanced proficiency in navigating and manipulating text, tabs, and windows within browser-based tools. Experience with Google Docs & Sheets, online marketplaces, and major social platforms. Familiarity with freelance and SaaS workflow tools such as Upwork or Linear. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and technical detail. Ability to document processes and explain shortcut-based workflows to diverse audiences. Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing or supporting keyboard automation scripts or browser extensions. Background in training others on productivity or task automation tools. Previous experience supporting remote, distributed teams.
Sample Task/Work
Find a target word or phrase, move the cursor precisely to it, select the correct text using keyboard shortcuts, verify the selection, and then replace it without using the mouse and without combining steps.
