About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Kurdish Language Expert, where you will leverage your proficiency in the Kurdish language to shape AI technologies and linguistic resources. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate remotely with like-minded professionals, contributing your expertise in editing, translating, and training AI to understand and process Kurdish effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Translate, proofread, and edit Kurdish text to ensure linguistic accuracy and clarity. Provide expert linguistic analysis to improve AI understanding of the Kurdish language. Collaborate with technical teams to annotate and review data for AI model training. Develop and refine Kurdish language datasets in alignment with project objectives. Evaluate and improve the quality of Kurdish language content for various applications. Participate in regular team discussions, sharing insights on Kurdish language nuances. Act as a cultural and linguistic consultant for AI and language projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Kurdish, with strong written and verbal skills. Proven experience in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis. Exceptional attention to detail and command of Kurdish language conventions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Kurdish and English. Solid understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural contexts. Capability to work autonomously in a remote, collaborative environment. Experience with AI training data, annotation, or related linguistic projects is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in computational linguistics, natural language processing, or a related field. Familiarity with AI-based language tools and platforms. Previous experience as an AI trainer or working on language AI initiatives.

What is the catch?
Privacy. Micro1 projects often require you to install time-tracking software that takes screenshots of your desktop while you work to ensure you are actually working. If you are uncomfortable with monitoring software, this might not be for you.
What does the work actually look like?

How flexible is the schedule?
