About this Role
Job Summary
If you are a passionate scientific visualization professional with a deep mastery of ParaView, we invite you to join our customer’s team as a ParaView Expert. You will play a pivotal role in capturing and explaining end-to-end renders used by experienced visualization experts, directly shaping how next-generation AI understands and replicates advanced data visualization practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle visualization projects in ParaView, from importing raw simulation or scientific datasets to producing final rendered outputs. Document and narrate your workflow, decision-making, and analytical reasoning throughout the visualization process for AI learning purposes. Clean, preprocess, and manage complex datasets using ParaView’s tools and capabilities. Apply and customize advanced filters, scalar/vector field adjustments, and visualization pipelines. Create compelling visual representations such as volume rendering, streamlines, contour plots, and more. Optimize performance and troubleshoot technical issues as you progress through projects. Collaborate remotely with the customer’s team, leveraging exceptional written and verbal communication skills to share insights and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Expert-level, hands-on experience using ParaView for real-world engineering, medical, or scientific visualization projects. Demonstrated ability to manage entire visualization workflows, from dataset import to final output, within ParaView. Strong proficiency in Python scripting for automation, customization, or data processing within ParaView. Background in engineering, medical imaging, physics research, computational sciences, or similar technical domains. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and decisions. Proven capability to troubleshoot issues and optimize visualization pipelines for both accuracy and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using ParaView in specialized domains such as medical, engineering, or materials science. Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or creating educational content related to scientific visualization. Active participation in the ParaView user community or contributions to open-source visualization projects.

How flexible is the schedule?
Extremely. This is true "log in and work" flexibility. You can usually work for 20 minutes or 4 hours depending on your availability. There are rarely minimum hour requirements, making it ideal for side income.
Is there an interview?
