About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Persian Language Expert, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest linguistic quality across a range of projects. This position is ideal for native Persian (Farsi) speakers who possess a deep understanding of language nuances, transcription, editing, and localization. Use your expertise to deliver exceptional written and verbal communication in a dynamic, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Transcribe audio and video content accurately in contemporary Persian (Farsi). Translate various materials between Persian and English, ensuring semantic integrity and cultural relevancy. Edit and proofread Persian texts to maintain clarity, tone, and technical accuracy. Localize content for different audiences, adapting materials for cultural appropriateness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide linguistic insights and ensure messaging consistency. Review and assess language data for quality and compliance with project standards. Contribute to the development of language resources, style guides, and glossaries for the Persian language.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native proficiency in Persian (Farsi), with a keen understanding of contemporary usage. Proven experience in transcription, translation, editing, and localization of Persian content. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote setup while meeting deadlines. Strong familiarity with linguistic, grammatical, and cultural aspects of Persian language. Experience with language technology tools and collaborative online platforms. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Academic background in linguistics, translation studies, or related fields. Prior experience in large-scale transcription or localization projects. Knowledge of additional regional Persian dialects or languages is a plus.
