Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Retail Generalists (Grocery) and take on a crucial role in creating the future of day-to-day store operations with AI. This expert-level position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who excel at ensuring grocery shelves are fully stocked, organized, and inviting for customers—all while working remotely to contribute to AI training and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently select and organize grocery products according to store standards, ensuring optimal placement and merchandising. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conducting basic inventory checks to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Assess product freshness, with special attention to perishable items, removing or reporting expired goods as necessary. Support daily store activities by stocking shelves and keeping product displays clean, attractive, and well-ordered. Assist customers virtually by providing accurate product information and addressing common inquiries. Maintain an organized and clean virtual workspace, adhering to best practices in remote retail operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless, customer-focused experience that meets operational targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in grocery retail, procurement, or product selection roles. Strong knowledge of grocery product categories, including perishables and non-perishables. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first mindset. Keen attention to detail and organizational abilities to uphold store presentation standards. Ability to conduct inventory checks and monitor stock efficiently in a remote capacity. Familiarity with retail technology tools and online collaboration platforms.
