Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Production Supervisor – AI Trainer to join our customer’s team. In this unique opportunity, you will use your operational expertise in manufacturing or production environments to help train intelligent AI systems. Your real-world supervisory insights will guide the development of AI that supports factory operations, production workflows, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities
Share subject matter expertise as an AI trainer, offering insight into real-life production floor supervision. Analyze and evaluate AI-generated content related to manufacturing operations, ensuring it reflects real-world best practices. Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to refine AI interactions focused on industrial workflows, shift supervision, and team coordination. Provide feedback on training content covering safety protocols, operational efficiency, and team communication in production settings. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of production trends, machine operation standards, and workplace safety guidelines. Participate in ongoing calibration and training sessions to improve AI model performance in the context of manufacturing and operations. Communicate in a clear, structured, and professional manner—both written and verbal—with a strong emphasis on accuracy and clarity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Plant Supervisor, or similar leadership role in manufacturing or industrial environments. Solid understanding of production processes, equipment operation, workforce management, and safety compliance. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to critique and refine operational dialogues, safety instructions, and standard operating procedures. Comfortable working remotely on a flexible, part-time schedule. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Collaborative team player with the ability to work across diverse functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a subject matter expert (SME) in AI training, language model evaluation, or digital workflow tools. Background in writing or contributing to training manuals, SOPs, or technical content in a production environment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or quality control systems. Demonstrated success in adapting production strategies or workforce management in response to technology adoption or automation.
