About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Swedish Language Expert and play a pivotal role in supporting a growing global organization. Bring your linguistic expertise and passion for Swedish language and culture to ensure exceptional communication, translation accuracy, and cultural relevancy across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality written and verbal communication in Swedish across diverse channels, maintaining brand tone and clarity. Translate, proofread, and localize documents, marketing materials, and customer communications with precision and cultural awareness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure linguistic consistency and language best practices are upheld in all deliverables. Act as an internal consultant for Swedish language queries, providing guidance on terminology, grammar, and best usage. Review and edit content to guarantee linguistic accuracy, style, and adherence to project guidelines. Facilitate virtual meetings and training sessions in Swedish, as needed, to support team goals. Proactively initiate improvements in language processes and documentation for enhanced quality and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native fluency in Swedish, both written and spoken. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail. Proven experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work efficiently in a remote, multicultural environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a quality-first mindset. Comfortable offering language support and feedback to colleagues at all levels. Tech-savvy with experience using digital communication and productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field. Experience supporting international business operations or customer service teams. Familiarity with localization tools and language quality assurance platforms.
