About this Role
Technical Project Manager (AI) YEO - 10-15 yrs Location - Mumbai, Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
• Lead planning and execution of AI/ML and Generative AI projects (LLMs, RAG, NLP, etc.) from ideation to deployment • Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables • Manage project lifecycle including requirements gathering, sprint planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery • Drive Agile/Scrum practices, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery • Translate business requirements into technical execution plans for AI solutions • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; proactively mitigate issues • Track KPIs, project progress, and communicate status to leadership • Ensure model deployment, scalability, and production readiness in collaboration with engineering teams • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and stakeholder communication • Manage vendors/partners where applicable
Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience
in
technical project/program management
• Proven experience managing
AI/ML Generative AI projects
• Strong understanding of: • Large Language Models (LLMs) • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) • NLP, prompt engineering, and model evaluation • Familiarity with
ML lifecycle (data prep, training, evaluation, deployment)
• Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Hands-on experience with
Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
•
Basic proficiency in Python or ability to understand/read AI/ML codebases
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to bridge
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with frameworks/tools like
LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Hugging Face
• Understanding of
MLOps and model deployment pipelines
• Exposure to
vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.)

You are hired as an independent contractor, responsible for your own local taxes. Turing collects payment from the client and pays you monthly in USD via Deel, Payoneer, or direct bank/wire transfer. Monthly pay is standard for long-term contract roles — if you need weekly cash flow, this structure requires adjustment.
What does the work actually look like?
It is practical, hands-on data work. You might be recording short videos, categorizing images, rating text responses, or analyzing data. The tasks are designed to be short and distinct—typically 5-60 minutes per task.
How flexible is the schedule?
Extremely. This is true "log in and work" flexibility. You can usually work for 20 minutes or 4 hours depending on your availability. There are rarely minimum hour requirements, making it ideal for side income.
Is there an interview?
