About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as an Infrastructure Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable enterprise infrastructure. You will collaborate with talented professionals in a dynamic remote environment, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across all systems. Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions. Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime. Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Implement and maintain robust security practices and compliance standards across environments. Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments. Optimize cost, performance, and resiliency of infrastructure resources through strategic planning and monitoring. Create comprehensive documentation and deliver clear, effective written and verbal communication to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Expert-level experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong background in networking, storage, and virtualization technologies. Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Deep understanding of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). Advanced troubleshooting and incident response capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant cloud or infrastructure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect). Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001). Prior work experience supporting global or distributed teams in a fully remote context.
