Aviation Data Specialist (Flight Students & Pilots)

What You'll Do

• Listen to and transcribe real pilot-to-ATC (air traffic control) audio recordings with precision
• Review and validate AI-generated transcriptions for accuracy in aviation terminology and phraseology
• Label and annotate audio data to help AI systems understand real-world aviation communication
• Flag errors, miscommunications, or unclear audio segments using structured guidelines
• Apply your knowledge of standard aviation language (ICAO phraseology, readbacks, clearances) to ensure high-quality outputs
• Work independently and asynchronously at your own pace

Who You Are

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a flight training program (PPL, CPL, ATPL, or equivalent — EASA or UK CAA)
• Familiar with standard pilot-to-ATC communication and aviation radio phraseology
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with audio tools and structured data entry
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet quality benchmarks independently
• No prior AI or data labeling experience required — we'll provide all the guidance you need

Nice to Have

• Logged flight hours or simulator experience
• Familiarity with ICAO, EASA, or UK CAA communication standards
• Background in aviation safety, dispatch, or ATC
• Understanding of UK airspace classifications and procedures
