Note: This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that is 40 hours per week at $30 per hour (up to $1,200/week). It can be done remotely and can be done both alongside or instead of full-time employment.
We're hiring freelance document specialists to help us convert PDF files into clean, accurately formatted Word and Google Docs for our clients.

Your Role Your core task will be converting PDF documents into properly formatted Word and Google Docs files, ensuring layouts, fonts, tables, and structure are preserved and polished.

Your Expert Score rises with each completed engagement, which unlocks higher-value inbound over time. Ethos already works with 25+ private equity firms, hedge funds, and consultancies, so deal flow is real.
When and how do I get paid?
Payment is processed within 30 days of submitting your invoice after a project closes. This net-30 schedule is standard for enterprise expert networks but slower than weekly-paying AI platforms. Plan your cash flow accordingly — this is not a 'get paid Friday' setup.
What does the work actually look like?
It is practical, hands-on data work. You might be recording short videos, categorizing images, rating text responses, or analyzing data. The tasks are designed to be short and distinct—typically 5-60 minutes per task.
How flexible is the schedule?
Extremely. This is true "log in and work" flexibility. You can usually work for 20 minutes or 4 hours depending on your availability. There are rarely minimum hour requirements, making it ideal for side income.
Is there an interview?
