Job Summary
Join our customer's team as an Anesthesiologist - AI Trainer, where your clinical expertise will help shape the next generation of AI-driven healthcare solutions. Leverage your deep knowledge of pain management and perioperative care to train artificial intelligence models, improving patient safety and efficiency in anesthesiology. Key Responsibilities
Provide expert input to train and refine AI algorithms utilized in anesthesia and perioperative care workflows. Review, annotate, and interpret clinical data sets, contributing to the development of safe and effective AI tools. Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and fellow clinicians to define use cases and improve model accuracy. Monitor patient case studies and simulate real-world scenarios to validate AI performance in anesthesia delivery and pain management. Document and communicate clinical decision-making processes in both written and verbal form to interdisciplinary teams. Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and medical AI, integrating best practices into training protocols. Support quality assurance, risk assessment, and compliance efforts to ensure AI safety and regulatory alignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist (MD, DO), with active clinical experience. Extensive knowledge in administering anesthetics and analgesics for surgical, obstetric, and pain management procedures. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—able to clearly convey complex clinical concepts to multi-disciplinary teams. Proven track record in monitoring patient status, managing complications, and maintaining detailed medical records. Familiarity with diagnostic testing, airway management, and emergency anesthesia protocols. Comfortable working with digital platforms and clinical informatics tools. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to advancing medical technology for improved patient outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating with software engineers or participating in AI, machine learning, or clinical informatics projects. Background in staff anesthesiology, obstetrical anesthesia, or academic medical research. Prior involvement in developing training materials or clinical documentation for healthcare technology initiatives.
