Job Summary
Join our customer’s team as a Counter and Rental Clerk, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to clients remotely. This part-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who excel at managing customer requests, processing rentals, and communicating effectively via both written and verbal channels.
Key Responsibilities
Compute charges for merchandise or services and efficiently process customer payments. Receive and manage orders for services such as rentals, repairs, dry cleaning, and storage with attention to detail. Clearly explain rental fees, company policies, and procedures to customers. Provide accurate information about rental items, including availability, operation, and descriptions. Advise customers on the use and care of merchandise, fostering long-term satisfaction. Greet customers, discuss their rental needs, and ensure a positive experience from start to finish. Answer telephones and respond to inquiries, placing orders as needed with professionalism.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and concise support for customers. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle transactions and documentation. Proficiency in remote work technology and tools. Capable of preparing rental forms, securing customer signatures, and managing licensing documentation. Proven ability to organize, tag, and track merchandise for rental, repair, or storage. Experience in maintaining accurate transaction records and tracking inventory. Customer-focused mindset with a professional and courteous approach.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Counter Clerk, Rental Agent, Leasing Consultant, or similar adjacent roles. Familiarity with rental management systems and POS software. Interest in contributing to AI training data through adjacent role experience (e.g., Rental Sales Representative, Video Clerk).
