About this Role
Job Summary
Are you passionate about the Danish language and culture? Our customer's team is seeking a Danish Language Expert to leverage your linguistic expertise, writing aptitude, and cultural insights. You will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality communication and content excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Translate, review, and localize content from English to Danish and vice versa, maintaining linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in terminology and messaging. Develop, edit, and proofread Danish written materials for a variety of platforms, including digital media, marketing collateral, and internal communications. Advise on Danish language nuances and regional variations to support content strategies and customer engagement. Support language training initiatives and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. Ensure adherence to brand voice and tone guidelines in all Danish communications. Proactively identify opportunities for process and quality improvements in Danish language content.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Danish, with exceptional command of written and verbal communication. Proven experience in translation, localization, linguistics, or content creation in Danish. Strong attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a remote work environment. Ability to analyze language requirements and provide insightful recommendations. Skilled in modern writing, editing, and proofreading tools. Proactive communicator, comfortable articulating complex ideas both in writing and speech.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or related field. Experience working with international teams or in cross-cultural settings. Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing platforms.
