Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our customer's team as part of an innovative AI training initiative. This unique role offers the opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise to support survivors of domestic violence and inform the development of advanced, trauma-informed AI solutions. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping technology that enhances psychological care and safety for individuals impacted by domestic abuse.
Key Responsibilities
Provide subject-matter expertise in trauma psychiatry and domestic violence to support the training and evaluation of AI systems. Review and analyze trauma-related case scenarios and psychiatric evaluations to ensure clinical accuracy and sensitivity in AI training materials. Contribute insights on crisis intervention, trauma response, and risk assessment to strengthen AI understanding of survivor support strategies. Collaborate with AI researchers, clinicians, and product teams to help design and refine trauma-informed AI tools and resources. Evaluate AI-generated responses related to mental health and domestic violence, providing feedback to improve empathy, safety, and clinical reliability. Develop and review training content that models empathetic communication and active listening for AI systems. Ensure AI outputs align with ethical standards, trauma-informed practices, and responsible digital mental health guidelines. Stay informed on emerging research in trauma psychiatry and AI ethics to enhance the quality of training data and model performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Review and evaluate AI model responses to scenarios involving domestic violence, trauma, and crisis situations to ensure they reflect appropriate clinical understanding and trauma-informed care principles. Contribute domain expertise to help design prompts, evaluation rubrics, and safety guidelines used to train mental health–related AI systems. Provide expert input on crisis intervention approaches, risk assessment considerations, and survivor safety planning within AI-generated interactions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (AI researchers, engineers, and other clinical experts) to improve the accuracy, empathy, and safety of AI responses related to trauma and abuse. Help develop training examples that model empathetic communication, active listening, and responsible boundaries for AI systems interacting with vulnerable users. Review case-based scenarios to ensure AI outputs align with ethical standards and best practices in trauma-informed mental health care.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience contributing to digital health, telepsychiatry, or AI projects. Advanced training or certification in trauma psychiatry or related fields. Background in training or supervising mental health professionals.
