Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Specialist to join our customer's team. In this role, you will be instrumental in streamlining online operations, maintaining product listing accuracy, and elevating the overall efficiency of our client's digital commerce platforms. Your analytical mindset, strong communication abilities, and creative problem-solving skills will be critical to enhancing operational processes and supporting a high-performing remote team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize daily e-commerce operations and workflows across diverse online marketplaces and platforms. Create and execute structured scenarios to simulate operational challenges, test processes, and uncover improvement opportunities. Analyze workflow data to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for operational enhancement. Document procedures, generate clear reports, and provide concise operational notes for internal teams. Collaborate closely with product, operations, and marketplace teams to facilitate seamless execution of business objectives. Continuously review and refine operational processes to boost accuracy, scalability, and efficiency. Support quality control efforts by maintaining high standards across product listings and operational outputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Exceptional analytical and reasoning abilities, with a proven track record of operational problem-solving. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a particular emphasis on clear written documentation. Demonstrated capacity for creating realistic, detailed scenarios to evaluate process effectiveness. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to clearly organize complex information. Ability to thrive independently and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Comfort working with structured data and developing logical workflows. 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, digital commerce, marketplace operations, or a related field (strong candidates with slightly less experience and exceptional skills will be considered).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams in global settings. Familiarity with major e-commerce platforms and marketplace ecosystems. Proven history of process documentation and workflow analysis.
