Job Summary
Join our customer's team as an Economics Professor and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of economics education for the next generation. You will combine your expertise in economics with modern AI training techniques, developing and delivering engaging content while supporting the advancement of AI-driven learning tools. This is a unique opportunity to drive both teaching and innovative research in a collaborative remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver thought-provoking lectures on topics such as econometrics, price theory, and macroeconomics to undergraduate and graduate students. Design and develop comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and digital handouts tailored for AI-enhanced learning platforms. Conduct research in specialized areas of economics and contribute findings to professional journals, books, or electronic media. Collaborate with AI development teams to inform and refine AI training data with real-world teaching scenarios and subject expertise. Evaluate and rigorously grade students’ classwork, assignments, and research papers according to academic standards. Stay abreast of the latest developments in economics and AI pedagogy through literature review, professional conferences, and peer networking. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating remote classroom environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Economics or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience teaching economics at the postsecondary level. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on clarity, empathy, and engagement. Proven ability to develop and adapt course content for diverse audiences and digital platforms. Track record of conducting and publishing academic or applied research. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including technologists and educators. Comfort and enthusiasm for working in a fully remote, technology-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
