Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Gujarati Language Expert and leverage your linguistic expertise to support diverse language projects. You will play a pivotal role in enabling seamless communication and high-quality content delivery in Gujarati, fostering connections and ensuring cultural relevance.
Key Responsibilities
Translate documents, communications, and multimedia content accurately between Gujarati and other languages. Review and edit materials to ensure linguistic accuracy, fluency, and cultural appropriateness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide language insights and support project objectives. Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and linguistic assets for Gujarati. Assist in quality assurance checks for digital and print content in Gujarati. Offer guidance on localization strategies tailored to Gujarati-speaking audiences. Participate in language training sessions and knowledge sharing within the customer's team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in written and spoken Gujarati. Strong command of English for effective cross-language communication. Proven experience in translation, editing, or linguistic roles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to convey nuanced meanings and maintain contextual accuracy. Familiarity with language technology tools and digital collaboration platforms. Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely with distributed teams.
