Join our customer’s team as an Ophthalmologist and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ophthalmic artificial intelligence. Leverage your clinical expertise to help train and refine advanced AI systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability in ocular health applications. Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive visual system examinations and annotate findings to support AI model development. Diagnose and document a range of ocular injuries, diseases, and disorders, focusing on adult patient cases. Review AI outputs to ensure alignment with real-world clinical standards and provide expert feedback. Prescribe or recommend ophthalmic treatments and integrate therapeutic knowledge into AI training datasets. Develop and implement evidence-based clinical workflows for ophthalmologic AI applications. Collaborate closely with cross-functional technical teams to enhance AI learning processes and accuracy. Contribute to the development of training materials and procedural documentation for AI projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology (excluding pediatric specialty). Proven experience performing comprehensive ocular examinations and managing postoperative care. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and detail. Familiarity with diagnosing and treating injuries or diseases of the eye and related structures. Ability to interpret complex ophthalmologic data and convey insights to non-clinical teams. Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, quality assurance, and patient-centric best practices. Proficient with digital tools and remote collaboration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare AI model development, annotation, or validation projects. Background in developing or implementing ophthalmologic procedures and workflows. Advanced training or certifications in ocular pharmacology or related therapeutic areas.
