Join our customer's team as a Remote Household Task Video Contributor and help shape the future of robotics technology. In this unique opportunity, you'll create first-person videos of everyday household activities, directly contributing to the development of smarter, more intuitive home robotics systems. Key Responsibilities
Record 1–15 minute, first-person POV videos performing routine household tasks such as washing dishes, folding laundry, and sweeping floors. Ensure all recordings are shot using a head-mounted or forehead-positioned smartphone, highlighting only your hands and natural task execution. Maintain high video quality standards including stable footage, proper lighting, and no extraneous background distractions. Submit videos promptly for review and approval according to project guidelines. Communicate clearly and regularly with the customer's support team regarding project updates or technical questions. Follow task instructions precisely while performing activities naturally, with no acting or scripts required. Meet a minimum weekly commitment of content creation hours as outlined during onboarding.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Ownership of a smartphone supporting 1080p at 30 FPS and a wide-angle camera (0.5x or 0.6x preferred). Ability to record video in native 16:9 landscape format. Resourcefulness in mounting a smartphone securely at head height (head strap or stable rig preferred). Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality, natural footage. Reliable high-speed internet for uploading video files. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with the customer's team. Physical presence in one of the approved U.S. states as specified on the application form.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in video content creation, remote gig work, or data collection (not required but a plus). Comfort working independently and managing flexible schedules. Interest in robotics, AI, or tech-enabled research projects.
