Job Summary

Join our customer's team as a Risk & Compliance Expert and play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of dynamic e-commerce operations. You will drive strategic risk management initiatives, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations while proactively identifying vulnerabilities within digital commerce environments. Key Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise in E-commerce risk, fraud prevention, and compliance operations. Support the refinement of policies related to chargebacks, disputes, refunds, and marketplace enforcement. Evaluate risk processes for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment. Collaborate with operations, customer support, and leadership teams to structure scalable compliance workflows. Develop documentation and best practices for risk mitigation and policy enforcement. Stay up to date with evolving E-commerce regulations, payments compliance standards, and marketplace policies. Communicate complex risk and compliance concepts clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Risk, Fraud, or Compliance within E-commerce, digital marketplaces, or online payments environments. Strong knowledge of chargebacks, disputes, KYC, AML (where applicable), and fraud detection processes. Experience working with marketplace governance or digital platform policy enforcement. Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (near-native or fluent required). Strong analytical mindset and detail-oriented approach. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in remote environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience in large-scale e-commerce operations or high-growth digital businesses. Experience in high-growth DTC brands, marketplaces, or fintech/payment platforms. Background in building or scaling risk review processes. Exposure to regulated environments involving digital payments or cross-border commerce. Experience working in consulting or advisory capacities.
