Key Responsibilities

Analyze business processes, policies, and scenarios to identify compliance and operational risks within the organization. Develop comprehensive written assessments, reports, and documentation addressing risk and compliance issues. Create and evaluate hypothetical scenarios to test and enhance compliance frameworks and risk controls. Support the development and refinement of internal policies, procedures, and governance standards to foster robust compliance. Conduct risk assessments and highlight potential gaps or vulnerabilities in existing processes or controls. Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and strengthen compliance practices across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of policies and risk controls. Monitor and track evolving regulatory requirements, assessing their potential impact on the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Exceptional analytical and reasoning skills, structured approach to complex problem-solving. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise documentation. Proven ability to generate and analyze creative scenarios related to risk and compliance challenges. Meticulous attention to detail and aptitude for identifying potential risks or inconsistencies. Strong ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights and practical recommendations. Comfortable working independently in a remote and distributed team environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Public Policy, Risk Management, or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, governance, or policy analysis (candidates with strong analytical and writing skills and slightly less experience may be considered).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with regulatory frameworks, governance programs, or compliance monitoring. Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance documentation. Previous experience working in global or cross-regional teams.
