Job Summary
Join our micro1 team as a Java Expert Evaluator and play a pivotal role in training cutting-edge AI models for advanced coding. This is a highly specialized opportunity for elite Java engineers to influence next-generation AI by evaluating high-level algorithmic problem-solving and technical acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Lead live, 1-hour technical interviews centered on algorithmic challenges using Java. Assess participant performance with keen focus on logic, code quality, and optimization techniques. Classify interview sessions into difficulty tiers based on expertise in data structures, recursion, and dynamic programming. Draft comprehensive written analyses (“trajectories”) detailing problem-solving approaches, successes, and error patterns. Collaborate with the AI training team, delivering actionable feedback that drives model improvement. Maintain exceptional standards in both written and verbal communications, ensuring clarity and depth in technical explanations. Adhere to structured evaluation processes and project timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Extensive, production-level mastery of Java and advanced software engineering practices. Proven ability to independently solve and clearly articulate solutions to LeetCode Easy-level problems. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related STEM field. Minimum 2+ years of hands-on professional software engineering experience. Demonstrated fluency in English with polished written and verbal communication skills. Capacity to reason about algorithmic trade-offs and explain complex problem-solving processes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and leading technical interviews or coding assessments. Exposure to AI model evaluation or research-driven environments. Contributions to open-source Java projects or technical forums.
