About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Python + Typescript Developer, leveraging your expertise across both language ecosystems to drive impactful AI training initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned software engineer with a proven history of codebase migrations or rewrites and a deep, idiomatic fluency in Python and Typescript. Collaborate remotely with a talented group while producing high-quality human data for cutting-edge AI projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute production-level development and refactoring efforts in both Python and Typescript codebases • Drive or support codebase migrations, rewrites, and modernization projects across multiple language ecosystems • Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to produce, evaluate, and refine human data for AI training • Ensure best practices in software engineering, including clean code, maintainability, and thorough documentation • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical challenges spanning both Python and Typescript stacks • Participate in code reviews, bringing critical insights and a commitment to code quality • Overlap and actively contribute during at least 6 hours of Eastern Time to synchronize with the customer’s global team
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Advanced proficiency and production experience in both Python and Typescript • Demonstrated success in large-scale codebase migrations, rewrites, or modernization projects • Experience producing or refining human data for AI training or similar workflow environments • Fluency in English with strong remote communication skills • Proven ability to thrive in distributed, collaborative teams • Availability to overlap at least 6 hours with Eastern Time
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior exposure to multi-language codebase environments • Experience in AI or machine learning data curation or annotation • Familiarity with best practices in secure, scalable cloud-based architectures
