What to Expect

TypeScript tasks center on type correctness, generics, and the intersection of frontend and backend TypeScript ecosystems. You might review a React component that overuses 'any', evaluate a NestJS controller with improper decorator typing, or assess whether a complex generic utility type actually does what its author intended. Tasks frequently involve discriminated unions, mapped types, and conditional types—the areas where AI-generated TypeScript tends to be subtly wrong. You'll also evaluate whether TypeScript configuration (tsconfig.json strictness settings) is appropriate for the project context. Familiarity with both Node.js and browser environments is valuable.
