Frequently Asked Questions
What credentials does Vetto require?
It varies by project: legal roles need verifiable bar admission or equivalent, finance roles look for a CFA, CPA, or senior-level experience, and healthcare roles require clinical licensure. Software and tech projects are more flexible if you can demonstrate real professional experience. The selection assessment is the actual gate. Pass it and a formal credential usually becomes secondary.
How does Vetto's per-task pay compare to an hourly rate?
Each opportunity lists a task price and estimated completion time that works out to roughly $30-100/hr for an average worker. Work faster than the estimate and your effective rate goes up; hit a task that's more complex than expected and it drops. Track your actual time on the first few tasks before committing to a full project.
What is Vetto's selection assessment like?
Each opportunity runs its own assessment designed to mirror the real work: legal reasoning for law roles, financial analysis for finance, code review for engineering. There's no published pass rate, and failing one project's assessment doesn't block you from others, so if you're rejected, look at the other open opportunities that match your strongest credentials.
What does task-based AI training work actually look like?
Practical, hands-on data work: recording short videos, categorizing images, rating text responses, or analyzing data. Tasks are designed to be short and distinct, typically 5 to 60 minutes each.
What does asynchronous AI training work mean in practice?
No set hours, no check-ins, no meetings. You log in when you want, pick up an available task, complete it, and submit; nobody is waiting on you in real time. That's different from remote employment, where you're expected online during business hours. The tradeoff: you're competing with others for available tasks, so an empty queue means there's simply nothing to do until more work is released.
Do task-based AI training roles require an interview?
Check the Job Facts panel above for this specific listing. Where no fact is confirmed yet: most of these roles skip a live interview and gate access through an automated assessment or qualification task instead, though some do add an interview step, so don't assume either way until you check the application flow.
What does Generalist work look like for a QA Expert?
Tasks here are scoped to Generalist, not generic labeling. As a QA Expert, expect to draw on real domain judgment (evaluating outputs, correcting errors, or providing expert reasoning specific to Generalist) rather than following a one-size-fits-all rubric. If you don't have hands-on Generalist background, this is likely not the right listing to start with.
Do I need to be fluent in English?
Yes. This role specifically requires English proficiency. You will likely be evaluated on written fluency during the assessment, not just conversational level. If English is not your first language or you are not professionally fluent, this is not the right role. Filter for your native language to find better-matched listings.
