About this Role
Role Overview
Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to engage experienced IT services and consulting professionals to improve AI systems' understanding of enterprise technology, digital transformation, and technical advisory workflows. Contributors will apply their expertise in areas such as systems integration, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, data engineering, and IT strategy to evaluate and enhance AI performance on technology consulting tasks. This is a project-based opportunity with potential for ongoing engagement depending on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to solution architecture, technology recommendations, implementation planning, and technical documentation
Create realistic scenarios based on IT consulting workflows — discovery workshops, requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, migration planning, and post-implementation review
Annotate, label, and validate data across IT services use cases (e.g., cloud migration assessments, security posture reviews, infrastructure design, DevOps pipelines)
Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy in areas such as enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), security standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2), and ITSM practices
Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for technology-domain AI
Ideal Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience at an IT services firm, systems integrator, or technology consultancy (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte Digital, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, or equivalent)
Background in one or more areas such as:
IT strategy and digital transformation advisory
Cloud architecture and migration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Cybersecurity consulting and risk assessment
Data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML implementation
Enterprise application consulting (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday)
Relevant certifications a plus (AWS SA, Azure Solutions
Requirements
