About this Role

Location: Remote

Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable frontend components using Typescript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Integrate RESTful APIs and efficiently manage data flow between the frontend and backend services. Ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability through code reviews, documentation, and best practices. Implement and maintain robust testing strategies, including automation testing for continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user interfaces. Stay up-to-date with the latest in tooling and ecosystem advancements, identifying opportunities to improve workflows and application performance. Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms, contributing ideas that drive project success and team cohesion.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript. Deep experience with Typescript and its application in large-scale web projects. Demonstrated expertise in API integration and data handling best practices. Solid understanding of the frontend tooling ecosystem (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn). Proven track record with automation testing frameworks and methodologies. Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to collaboration and clarity.

Preferred Qualifications

What is the catch?

Privacy. Micro1 projects often require you to install time-tracking software that takes screenshots of your desktop while you work to ensure you are actually working. If you are uncomfortable with monitoring software, this might not be for you.

What does the work actually look like?

It is practical, hands-on data work. You might be recording short videos, categorizing images, rating text responses, or analyzing data. The tasks are designed to be short and distinct—typically 5-60 minutes per task.

How flexible is the schedule?

Extremely. This is true "log in and work" flexibility. You can usually work for 20 minutes or 4 hours depending on your availability. There are rarely minimum hour requirements, making it ideal for side income.
