What to Expect

Day-to-day work involves reviewing Python code and providing detailed, written feedback. One task might ask you to evaluate a Flask REST API for security issues; the next might be a pandas pipeline you need to optimize or a Django ORM query you should rewrite for efficiency. Tasks emphasize Pythonic conventions—proper use of list comprehensions, generator expressions, context managers, and type hints. You'll catch off-by-one errors, flag missing exception handling, and note when code ignores the standard library. Each task ships with a rubric, so evaluation is structured. Most tasks take 20–40 minutes; complex architecture reviews can run longer and pay more.
