What to Expect

Biology tasks ask you to evaluate AI understanding of life sciences, and to catch the subtle errors that make AI biology outputs unreliable without expert review. You'll check whether AI correctly explains cell signaling cascades, accurately describes CRISPR mechanisms, or properly distinguishes between convergent and divergent evolution. Genetics tasks are common: Mendelian inheritance problems, population genetics calculations, gene expression regulation. Neuroscience questions appear regularly, as do ecology and bioinformatics tasks (sequence alignment logic, phylogenetic tree interpretation). Tasks often cite primary research and ask whether the AI's interpretation matches the paper's actual findings. Research methodology knowledge, experimental design, controls, statistical significance, is frequently tested.
