Register tasks assess whether AI Mandarin appropriately distinguishes formal written Chinese (书面语) from natural spoken style. Simplified characters are standard for Mainland China tasks; Traditional characters are used for Taiwan-targeted tasks. Native speaker or C2-level fluency with strong written Chinese competency is required.
