You'll audit tasks already completed by other trainers in your subject area, checking whether the scoring and feedback actually followed the rubric. Expect to overturn a portion of submissions, flagging inconsistent grading, missed edge cases, or feedback that doesn't hold up, and to document why in writing. Most QAL work is asynchronous review, not live oversight, so you can batch-process a queue on your own schedule. Deep familiarity with the underlying subject (law, finance, a science field, etc.) matters more than formal QA credentials.
