What to Expect

Dermatology evaluation tasks focus on skin lesion identification, differential diagnosis, and clinical management recommendations. You'll assess AI descriptions and analyses of dermatological presentations—whether lesion morphology is correctly characterized (macule, papule, plaque, vesicle), whether the differential diagnosis is appropriate and appropriately ranked, and whether the management recommendations align with current dermatology guidelines. AI dermatology systems often conflate visually similar conditions with very different clinical implications (benign nevi vs. melanoma, for instance)—precise expert evaluation is critical. Tasks are clinical in nature and require formal dermatology training. Board-certified dermatologists and dermatology NPs/PAs are the primary workforce. This is specialized, high-paying work where your clinical precision directly improves patient safety downstream.
