We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced journalism and media professionals who can help train their latest language model on news reporting and analysis tasks.
We're looking for senior reporters, editors, and news analysts with a background in breaking news, investigative journalism, or policy analysis. You know how to verify sources quickly, write under deadline pressure, and structure complex stories for a general audience without losing accuracy.
You'll create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated work across core journalism workflows: news article drafting, fact-checking, source evaluation, headline writing, and editorial commentary.
Compensation: $75/hour
Commitment: Flexible, up to 20 hours per week (up to $1,500/week)
Location: Fully remote — work on your own schedule
Qualifications:
Senior reporter, news analyst, or editor at a recognized news organization
Experience covering breaking news, policy, or investigative stories with demonstrated accuracy
Strong editorial judgment for evaluating AI-generated news content for bias, accuracy, and clarity

When and how do I get paid?
Payment is processed within 30 days of submitting your invoice after a project closes. This net-30 schedule is standard for enterprise expert networks but slower than weekly-paying AI platforms. Plan your cash flow accordingly — this is not a 'get paid Friday' setup.
What equipment do I need?
For voice or audio roles at this pay level, you typically need a professional home studio setup (XLR microphone, treated room). Phone recordings or laptop mics are usually rejected by quality control.
How is my work used?
You are providing high-quality "ground truth" data. For writers, this means creative generation. For voice actors, it often means training Text-to-Speech models. Be sure to check the specific contract details regarding rights usage for your voice or likeness.
