About the Role
We're looking for a part-time UX Designer to partner with our team for up to a month, 5-20 hours per week. You'll shape the experience of our client-facing research and sourcing platform, our expert-side workflows, and the autonomous agent surfaces that sit between them. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move fast, ship polished work, and make sharp product decisions without a lot of hand-holding.
What you'll do
Design end-to-end flows across our client product (research, expert search, matching) and our expert-facing surfaces (onboarding, calls, payouts). Translate fuzzy product problems into clear wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready specs. Collaborate directly with engineering and product to ship changes weekly. Improve information density, clarity, and visual polish across the platform. Help define and document a lightweight design system as we scale.
Key requirements
Strong portfolio showing shipped product work for B2B SaaS or complex data/AI products. 4+ years designing production software (interaction, visual, and IA). Comfort moving from problem definition to wireframes to high-fidelity Figma to engineering handoff with minimal supervision. Excellent product taste and attention to detail. Ability to commit 5-20 hours per week for up to a month, starting soon.
Bonus: experience designing for AI agents, search/research tools, or expert/marketplace platforms. Bonus: ability to spin up quick prototypes to pressure-test ideas.

When and how do I get paid?
Payment is processed within 30 days of submitting your invoice after a project closes. This net-30 schedule is standard for enterprise expert networks but slower than weekly-paying AI platforms. Plan your cash flow accordingly — this is not a 'get paid Friday' setup.
Is this traditional consulting?
Not exactly. You act as a "Teacher" for advanced AI. Instead of client deliverables, you are given complex scenarios to evaluate. You grade the AI's logic, correct its hallucinations, and provide expert-level reasoning. Your job is to train the model to think like you do.
Why is the pay so high?
This role requires deep, verified expertise. General knowledge isn't enough; the model is specifically being trained on "edge cases"—the rare, difficult, or highly technical nuances that only a senior professional would know.
What is the workload like?
This is cognitive, deep work. Unlike simple data labeling, you might spend 45-60 minutes on a single task, researching citations or verifying complex calculations. Quality is prioritized over speed.
