iMerit jobs FAQ
Is iMerit a legit company?
Yes. iMerit was founded in 2012, is headquartered in San Jose, California, and is now part of EXL. It provides annotation, model evaluation and fine-tuning data to enterprise and AI clients.
What is iMerit Scholars?
iMerit Scholars is a remote network of subject-matter experts for generative AI work: supervised fine-tuning, RLHF, model evaluation and similar projects. Applicants are assessed on core skills, language ability, and domain expertise before being matched to paid projects. Apply at join-scholars.imerit.net.
Are iMerit's remote roles restricted to the country they're posted in?
It depends on the role. LinkedIn allows one location per posting, so check the listing text for eligibility. Licensed-professional roles (physicians, radiologists, sonographers, dermatologists) are usually tied to the credential system of the country listed, since that work requires local licensure.
