About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer’s team as a French Language Expert and play a vital role in strengthening linguistic quality and communication excellence. You will leverage your expertise in French and your keen attention to detail to ensure linguistic consistency and accuracy in all deliverables. This Contract, remote opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about linguistic analysis and cross-cultural communication.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive linguistic analyses and provide expert insights on French language content. Review, edit, and validate written materials for grammar, style, tone, and accuracy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project goals and language standards. Maintain and update linguistic resources, glossaries, and style guides as needed. Identify and resolve language-related inconsistencies and provide recommendations for improvement. Deliver clear, precise feedback on both written and verbal communication to enhance team performance. Support quality assurance processes through detailed language checks and comprehensive reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in French, both written and verbal. Proven expertise in linguistic analysis and editing. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Demonstrated collaborative spirit and adaptability in interdisciplinary environments. Solid understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural context.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in French, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field. Experience working remotely with distributed teams. Prior involvement in similar linguistic quality assurance roles.
