Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize game scenarios utilizing MonoGame, libGDX, and/or Cocos2d-x frameworks. Collaborate with AI researchers to develop and refine environments used for training advanced AI agents. Translate gameplay requirements into scalable, reusable code components. Debug and enhance existing codebases, ensuring quality, efficiency, and performance. Document technical designs and workflows clearly to support knowledge transfer across the team. Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and sharing expertise in game framework best practices. Effectively communicate progress and challenges through strong written and verbal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Professional experience developing games with MonoGame, libGDX, or Cocos2d-x. Strong programming skills in C#, C++, and Java, with the ability to adapt to related languages and technologies. Solid understanding of game architecture, optimization techniques, and cross-platform development. Proven ability to collaborate in a remote, distributed team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear articulation is a must. Proficiency in debugging complex systems and maintaining clean, efficient code. Enthusiasm for leveraging game frameworks in support of AI research initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience working on AI agent or machine learning projects within a gaming or simulation context. Familiarity with the basics of AI model training and reinforcement learning environments. Contributions to open-source projects or gaming communities.
