Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Game Developer (Engines), leveraging your expertise in Godot and Panda3D to shape game environments and train cutting-edge AI models. You will play a pivotal role in crafting immersive simulations, robust physics systems, and dynamic game logic, all while collaborating with a forward-thinking AI agent project.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize game environments using Panda3D and Godot engine technologies. Script advanced physics and gameplay mechanics with Python and GDScript. Collaborate closely with AI research teams to create training environments and integrate new AI capabilities. Deliver modular, maintainable, and well-documented code for simulation and agent interaction. Ensure reliability and performance of in-game systems across multiple platforms. Contribute to the creative design and technical direction of AI-driven gameplay features. Communicate effectively with team members, providing written and verbal updates on progress and challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated experience developing with Panda3D and Godot engines. Strong proficiency in Python and GDScript for scripting complex game logic and physics. Proven ability to build, customize, and optimize real-time game environments. Experience integrating AI models or agents within game engines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and clear documentation. Solid understanding of game physics, environment creation, and interactive systems. Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team setting.
